Doughnut Wuff
Doughnut (born March 13), is a British furry and fursuiter, who lives in Blackpool, Lancashire, United Kingdom.
Doughnut has been a member of the Furry Fandom since February 2016. He is best known for staffing multiple furmeets and furry conventions throughout the UK – most notably at northern furry events. He regularly attends his local furmeet, MancFurs, with the occasional visit to LeedsFurs plus other events further afield.
His fursuit was constructed in 2020 by TheKraftyHyena, a fursuit maker based locally to Doughnut. He debuted his fursuit at BarkadeFurs in August 2021. His fursuit was then refurbished in the summer of 2023 by the original maker, which debuted at MancFurs in September 2023.
In real life, Doughnut works in the events industry as an AV / Broadcast Technician; having lost their previous career in IT during the COVID-19 pandemic. With expertise in all categories of AV, Doughnut primarily focuses on video production including vision mixing, camera operating / directing and is an experienced operator for both vMix and OBS. He utilises his video and broadcasting skills as a member of the video crew for both Scotiacon and ConFuzzled.
In his spare time, Doughnut is a hobbyist full-stack software developer working with multiple languages including NodeJS, Python, HTML, CSS, PHP and more. His most noticeable web development project was a custom-built registration system called YipYap Tickets. Originally designed for BarkadeFurs, it was recently adapted for the Yorkshire Furs Summer Party in Hull, Yorkshire.
Doughnut is also a hobbyist videographer and video editor. When Doughnut isn't fursuiting, he can often be seen at furry events with a Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, paired with a Rokinon Cine DS 35mm prime lens.
