Dogsbody is a novel by Diana Wynne Jones. It was first published in 1975 by Dell.

Dogsbody is the story of Sirius, the luminary of the Dog Star, who is punished for murder, negligence and the loss of the Zoi, a weapon. His sentence is to be reborn on Earth as a mortal dog, without clear memories; he is to be restored to his position if he can find the Zoi within his life span as a dog.
