DeadPossumCo

DeadPossumCo (otherwise known as Carolyn "Cat" Bedell, Cat, or Reggie the Undead Possum) is an Ohio-based illustrator and fursuiter. She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2021, with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Animation. She is a member of the current ToonFurs community on Twitter/X, Instagram and FurAffinity. Her art style is inspired by Looney Tunes and rubber hose cartoons; with piecut eyes being a major staple in her artwork.

Fursona, and other major characters

DeadPossumCo has a cast of characters, most starring in her original book series; Kickstarter project coming late 2023.

Her main character and fursona is Reggie the Toony Undead Possum. Her other recognizable characters are Bongo, a plush/imaginary friend cabbit; Akiko, a crow griffin; and Milo, a mutt dog.

Conventions

DeadPossumCo has attended Anthrocon 2022, Motor City Furry Con 2023, Anthrocon 2023. She plans on attending Motor City Furry Con 2024 and Furry Weekend Atlanta 2024. She also attends Sora's Howl-o-Ween event in Michigan, in 2022 and 2023.

She hosted the Toonifying our Fursona Panel at Anthrocon 2023, with guest panelists YeAungAnimations and TaiToonStudios. The panel went through the different toon styles, the history of animation, and how to toonify fursonas in artwork, roleplay or other means.
