Confuror 2020
Confuror 2020 was to be the third edition of Confuror, it was to take place from October 9-11, 2020 at the Fiesta Americana Hotel located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
Guests of honor and theme[edit]
Jib Kodi the first guest of honor was announcement during the closed ceremony in Confuror 2019 with a short animation that at the same time announced the theme of this year was "Lucha Libre". During promotional flyers distribution at some USA conventions, Uncle Kage was confirmed as the second guest of honor. After an announcement stating that they would host their event online, the convention maintained the same "Lucha Libre" theme, but dubbed their convention as "Confuror Virtual".
Cancellation[edit]
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many furry conventions were affected including Confuror, which was postponed to October 28-31, 2021.[1] An online event, branded Confuror Virtua 2020, was hosted on the originally planned date, as announced on their Twitter page on September 5, 2020.[2]
Virtual Edition[edit]
The virtual edition took place during the original dates with 42 panels on Twitch, Youtube, Discord, and Picarto, at the same time, with two virtual worlds on Minecraft and VRchat, the content included a virtual fursuit parade with 219 participants,a virtual dance contest and charity activities with a total collection of $3175 USD to Selva Teenek.
