ConFuzzled 2024
ConFuzzled 2024 "Dylan's Ocean Odyssey" is the planned fifteenth iteration of the ConFuzzled convention. It is to be held on from 24th to 28th May 2024 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole in Solihull, England.
Theming[edit]
The convention's theme—"Dylan's Ocean Odyssey"—was announced at the closing ceremony of ConFuzzled 2023.
2023's multiverse theme had introduced two alternative reality versions of the convention's mascot Brok: Dylan the crocodile and Mel the honey badger. Each of these new mascots had an associated team, Team Aegis for Dylan and Team Brazen for Mel, and assignments to each team were randomly distributed to convention attendees upon registration. Attendees were given the opportunity to complete puzzles during the convention and earn tokens that contributed to their team's score.
Unbeknownst to the attendees, the result of this game was used to determine the next year's theme. It was revealed during the closing ceremony that Team Aegis had narrowly won and thus Dylan's theme, Ocean Odyssey, was chosen.[1]
Guests of honour[edit]
The guests of honour were announced at the closing ceremony of ConFuzzled 2023 as being Haps, an artist for the visual novel Adastra, and the fursuiter Branston, in recognition of his volunteering and charitable work for the RSPCA, St John Ambulance and during the COVID-19 pandemic.[2][3]
