Club Penguin is a massively multiplayer online role playing video game involving a virtual world inhabited by anthropomorphic penguins. It was created by Disney Canada Inc (then known as New Horizon Interactive) and released to the general public in 2005.[1] As of July 2013, the site has over 200 million registered accounts.[2]

Three console video games for Club Penguin have been released:

  • Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force (for Nintendo DS)
  • Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force: Herbert's Revenge (for Nintendo DS)
  • Club Penguin: Game Day! (for Nintendo Wii)

As of 2017, Club Penguin is defunct, but private servers, remakes and new projects have been begun by fans to keep the game alive.
