Cicada is a content creation, and modding community in VRChat, ran by the VRChat user "The Cicada".
History[edit]
Cicada was formed in May of 2020 by its leader with the same name, and Dragon Shark. They are a community centered around "avatar and map creation" first, and a furry-oriented community second. Their goal is to help developers learn how to make avatar and world creation "easier and more accessible", as well as serving as a place to share avatar creation assets, and mods. They operate primarily on Discord.
Content creation[edit]
Cicada currently has two worlds to join. A night club, called "Cicada Club Fur", which has no relation to either the Club Fur on Second Life, or the now-defunct ClubFur VRChat community who was also focused on content creation. There is also an avatar world named "Cicada's Realm".
