Bubsy is a series of video games released by Accolade on the PC, SNES, Sega Genesis, Sony Playstation and Atari Jaguar, inspired by the success of Sonic the Hedgehog. The was a Bubsy cartoon also.

Bubsy in: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind[edit]

Bubsy in: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind was originally released in 1992 by Accolade for the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo. Bubsy was an anthropomorphic bobcat. It was a side-scrolling game, similar to Sonic the Hedgehog or Super Mario Brothers. There are fifteen different levels to play, the objects of the game to collect balls of yarn and defeat the "Woolies" - aliens that steal yarn. There was also a PC version which incorporated elements from the Bubsy cartoon series pilot.
