Brian Griffin

Brian Griffin is an anthropomorphic dog featured on the animated sitcom Family Guy. He is voiced by Seth MacFarlane, creator of the series. Even though none of the other animals in the show can speak and Brian was born of "normal" parents, no explanation is given for why he can talk, or why no one--even upon first meeting him--seems to find this odd. Also, Brian dates and sleeps with human girlfriends, though no taboo of bestiality is brought up. As with him being able to talk, it is mysteriously accepted. His physical appearance of a white, floppy-eared, round-bellied dog with a large black nose bears striking resemblance to the famous Beagle Snoopy from the Peanuts comics and cartoons.
