Breed of Giants

Breed of Giants is a novel by Joyce Stranger, primarily about Josh Johnson, a breeder of Shire horses, and the troubles he and his horses face. It is also about an old badger, and other animals of the area, among them a pet Red Fox. It make brief reference to one of Joyce Stranger's earlier novels, The Running Foxes.
Breed of Giants was first published in 1966, by Hammond Hammond & Co. Ltd. In 1968 it was published in a Corgi edition, which was reissued in 1973.[1]
