Arikla (real name Emily Weichbrod), is an artist who lives in Monroe, Wisconsin with two parrots, two German Shepherds, and her husband. She has been a dealer at Furry Connection North 2008-2011, Nakamacon 2010, Rainfurrest 2009 and 2011, and IndyFurCon 2011. She draws furry art because "The mix of animal and human characteristics fascinates me. I am never sure if I am drawing humans with animal characteristics or vice-versa."[1]. She is a self-taught artist for the most part though learned quite a bit growing up with her mother, Dava Dahlgran, who is a colored pencil artist. She has a webcomic called Oh, Carolina!.
