André Oppitz, also known in the fandom as the Hairless Master of Alcohol, is the bartender at the Ringberg Resort Hotel in Suhl, Thuringia, Germany, which hosted Eurofurence 13, 14 and 15. Although not a furry, he was well liked by the attendees of Eurofurence and also enjoyed participating in the social events and gatherings surrounding the convention. After Eurofurence 13, one artist drew a picture of his supposed fursona, representing him as an otter.

Over the years that Eurofurence was held at the Ringberg, the relationship between André and the congoers strengthened and he became somewhat of a celebrity with Eurofurence attendees. According to the Story Hour told at Eurofurence 15, Uncle Kage visited the Ringberg hotel in disguise to surprise him. When Eurofurence moved to the larger Maritim Hotel in Magdeburg the following year, André decided to return the favour and visited the convention at the new location, wearing a fursuit head as disguise. He then walked into the panel "Science, Pseudoscience and Outright Crap" that Uncle Kage was hosting, and revealed himself to a cheering crowd:

During my "Science, Pseudoscience and Outright Crap" presentation a mysterious partial-fursuit came slinking in and started pawing at me. I was completely mystified until the suit leaned in and whispered, "Du bist ein dummer Amerikaner!" My turn to be astonished. Andre Oppitz!!! The Hairless Master of Alcohol himself from the famous Ringberg Hotel, home of Eurofurence 13-15, a man who has become a fantastic friend to all Eurofurs as well as to me. He came all the way up to spend a day with us, and he even brought along his mom, who thought it odd but delightful. She was impressed that her little son had achieved rockstar status among this thousand-fold mob of fluffy creatures.[1]
