Akaji
Akaji, also known as Akaji the lion and Akaji_Yui, is an artist who lives in Malaysia.
Fandom involvement[edit]
Akaji can be regularly found at the dealer's dens at Furs Upon Malaysia and JMoF.
Fursona[edit]
Akaji's main fursona is a chibi-sized lion who has a typical mane standing out on his forehead, and a pink X mark on his chest.
His fursona contains a lot of different alternate versions of himself. He started off by drawing three characters namely Leon the lion, Tendo the bear, and Nishida the panda. It was only when someone asked him for his fursona that he used Leon the lion's image to create his own fursona.
Many people had confused him and his original character, Leon for quite some time. He stated that he really likes his original character, hence he tried to preserve them by just making his fursona have multiverse-like variations.
Akaji had attempted to make comics for his characters, but it had been delayed or canceled for some time.
