Fandom involvement[edit]

Adam joined the furry fandom in part because he felt misunderstood by others. He sometimes visits The Prancing Skiltaire, showing up in necromancer's robes, a scythe, and a set of cat ears and tail on his first visit.

In addition to attending various conventions, Adam attends furmeets including Mountain Fur Meet and Abandoned Zoo Furmeet.

The Forsaken Scribe[edit]

At Califur 2016, Adam sold books, calligraphy, and poetry, using the name The Forsaken Scribe for the first time. The name was chosen to fit in with Califur's theme that year, which was "High Fantasy & Renaissance Faire: The Quest for the Dragon Sword". Since then he has kept the name for selling his work, tweaking the subject matter of his wares to keep with the theme of different conventions. He often uses a quill and ink.
