Myspace (previously MySpace) is a social networking website offering an interactive, user-submitted network of friends, personal profiles, blogs, and groups, as well as various types of shareable media. It was the most popular social media site in the world from 2005 to 2008, until Facebook overtook it on April 19, 2008.
Created in August 2003, this community service is owned by Meredith Corporation and it's headquartered in Beverly Hills, California, USA.
MySpace and Furry
During the height of Myspace's popularity, many created groups themed around specific types of furries such as those who roleplay as well as furries from a particular state. All of these have since been removed.
