Kirisis Alpinus, or just Kirisis or Kiris/Kiri, also known as KC Alpinus, DaRhedDol, or just KC, formerly as Marcurii (born August 5, 1988 - died March 5, 2024),[1] was a female furry writer, editor, plush maker,[2] and art commissioner who lived in Florida, USA.[3]

Biography[edit]

Kirisis was a graduate student of political science from the Tuskegee University of Tuskegee, Alabama, USA, a political activist, and a self-labeled "openly and unapologetically black woman".

She used to like werewolves, sushi, Asian cuisine (especially sushi), animation, peaches, water, canoeing, wolves, tigers, and dragons.

Kirisis was a Guest of Honor at Furvana 2023.[4][5]

Fursonas[edit]

Kirisis' main fursona, Kiri, is a Dhole/Dire wolf hybrid, with her secondary being a crux.

Literature[edit]

Kirisis was a writer of erotica and neo-noir compositions, and the editor for Claw: Volume 1, Species: Wildcats, and Soar: Volume 1.

She also freelanced as a narrative designer for several dating sims and digital comics and also worked as a cultural consultant and sensitivity reader for various publishing entities and authors.

Award[edit]

She was the 2020 Cóyotl Award's winner for Best Anthology with A Selection of Anthropomorphic Regalements, Vol 1.[6]
