VFur!
VFur! is a furry Twitch streaming team. It was founded by Whiskey Dingo on August 13, 2023,[1] with the first wave of content creators revealed on August 22.[2]
About
VFur!'s goal is to bring people together regardless of streaming platform and make friends with other content creators, as well as collectively participating in charitable events. Applications for new members are routinely open bi-monthly/every two months.
Waves
Wave 1 was unveiled on August 22, 2023. Wave 2 was unveiled on October 17.[3] Wave 3 was originally set to be unveiled in December 2023, but was delayed to February 2024.[4]
Controversies
Within the span of 24 hours leading up to Whiskey posting a video X for the team's second wave in mid-October 2023, content creator SpitfireTheW0lf harassed Whiskey and his team by ranting/questioning on how does the team selects its members which backfired in counterarguments and outright attacks on the selected people who got in Wave 2. On October 19, about 48 hours after the incident, Spitfire wrote/posted an open apology letter on X to Whiskey and the VFur! community as a whole.[5]
On February 2, 2024, a wave of harassment and negativity befell one of the team's Wave 3 content creators, Landie, on X simply due to him being accepted as part of the team.[6]
