Mufasa on Pride Rock.

Mufasa (Swahili for 'king') was the king of the Pridelands in The Lion King. He was the mate of Sarabi and the father of Simba. His parents are Ahadi and Uru[1]. He is killed by his brother Scar by being thrown from a cliff into a herd of stampeding wildebeests.

The character was voiced by James Earl Jones in the English version of the movie.
