Layleaux (pronounced to rhyme with 'lay low') is a fictional town or city which makes up the bulk of the setting of the Tapestries MUCK. It is a role-playing environment that offers a vast degree of creative freedom for its users and contributors and thus has little in the way of internal consistency -- fantasy, contemporary, historical and science fiction settings are in equal abundance. Notable and popular locations include Fox Plaza, the Temple of Divinity, St. Mary's School for Wayward Furs, Mystic Stables, Sodom, Merriam's Pub, and The Golden Lash.
