Italian Fur Haven (IFH) is a series of furry events held in the center-north of Italy. The idea of bringing together italian and foreign furries in small and large informal events was born during a furry meeting on the Alps for the 2013/2014 New Year's Eve.
Organisation
Italian Fur Haven meetings are organized by a core team consists of seven people with different tasks.

Mascotte
The official mascot for the Italian Fur Haven is Lykta, an anthropomorphised brown bear who is holding a lantern. His name was chosen as result of a poll opened to all Italian Fur Haven members.
History
First Blood!
It took place from 1st to 4th March, 2014 in a nice building close to Castelnovo ne' Monti (Reggio Emilia). There were 60 attendees, came from Italy, San Marino, Croatia, Slovenia, Switzerland, and United States. The three-floors location provided two large meeting rooms, one kitchen and many bedrooms of different sizes. During the four days were hosted events like special meals, outings, board and video games, disco, furry panels and round tables and a fursuit group photoshoot.
Furry Horror Picture Show
It will take place in the evening between 4th and 5th October, 2014 in a '800 country mansion close to Colombaro di Formigine (Modena). The event is organized with the Facebook group Fursuit Italia. It will consist of a large dinner followed by a horror-themed disco until late night. During the disco will be avaiable also a fursuit photoshoot.
