Everest, also known as Blue Helvetical or just Blue (born June 8), is a furry artist, storyboard artist, voice actor, YouTuber, programmer, video game developer, photographer, and videographer who lives in Klang Valley, Malaysia.[1]

Biography

Language-wise, Everest is a versatile ambivert (a personality that has a balance of extrovert and introvert features) person who speaks fluent Malay and English, with Russian being his third learned language, can fluently sign language in Malaysian MSL (which he learned to communicate with a deaf friend), and express some in American ASL,[2] and does voice acting for several channels on YouTube.

Everest works as a barista and community service officer (Law enforcement assistant). He is a Wikipedia contributor.

Trivial data

Finally, he is described by friends as the Taste of ASEAN due to his vast Austronesian ancestry, rooted from Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines cultures,[6] loves to cook fried rice with omelets,[7] but is allergic to shrimp.[8] His favorite song is Lonesome Dreams by Lord Huron.[9]

Fandom involvement

Everest initially showed interest in animal characters after finding out about the Warriors (Warrior Cats) book series in 2013, following up by expressing interest in anthropomorphic characters in 2014, and becoming fully involved with the furry fandom via Furry Amino and Instagram since 2017.

Fursonas

Everest has created several fursonas of his own, his oldest being a male grey and white tabby cat named Ross, whose designs were based on an actual house cat of the same name he once had. Ross had two Malaysian Blue Flycatcher feathers on one of his ears and he sported a mixed swirl-stripe pattern on his body and a unique eye-like dot pattern on his head. He also had a blue-colored eye instead of a green color, which is explained as such because the tabby kitten was very playful during its first 3 months of age (where kitten eyes are still baby blue) and it suits his grey-white fur.

Ross was often confused with a Warrior Cats character named Jayfeather, and Everest used Ross as his initial artist icon picture. On 21 October 2023, based on fans' recommendation, Everest decided to give Ross a warrior name which is Sleetstream.[10] He also made a Minecraft skin of Sleetstream which he frequently used in his live streams.

Everest current fursonas are Snezhnov Everest Lushenko (initially known as Quartz, later as Everest), a Siberian Husky/Eurasian wolf hybrid, and Blue Helvetical, a Protogen (designed with the help of an online friend), which plays a main role in his social activity as well as being his YouTube channel icon, with both of his fursonas having undergone several changes throughout the years.

Everest

Everest the hybrid wolf is described as "friendly, determined, trustworthy, and sharp, despite being cold and a loner, much to fit his personality traits. Everest is usually utilized personally, while Blue is prominently used as his YouTube icon and related social media platforms.

In an alternate design, he appears with dark grey fur (based on the old design of the fursona), described as a "shadow reflection"; this alternate version is commonly used as his Roblox avatar and vent content.[clarify][11]
