Everest (artist)
Everest (Born June 8th), also known as BlueHelvetical or just Blue, is a furry artist, YouTuber and photographer/videographer who lives in Klang Valley, Malaysia.[1]

Biography
Everest is known for being a hobbyist artist and storyboard animator, specializing in both traditional and digital art. He spends leisure time making content on his YouTube channel where he plays video games (mainly Roblox), posts art-related videos, shares ongoing things in his life, and many more. He works as a barista and is a Wikipedia contributor.
A versatile and ambivert person, he speaks fluent Malay and English, with Russian being his third language acquisition. He knows how to sign in Malaysian Sign Language(BIM) and some basic American Sign Language(ASL). He is a voice actor for 'roblox air crash films' on YouTube and also a plane spotter, using his Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30 camera to take his photos. He also spends his leisure time as a volunteer weather spotter. He loves to ride his mountain bike and often participates in cycling events.
He had previously served as a community service officer. He is often described as the 'Taste of ASEAN' due to his vast Austronesian ancestry. [2]
Fandom involvement
Everest has shown interest in animal characters after finding out about Warriors book in 2013. He then showed interest in anthropomorphic characters in 2014 and has been involved in the furry community online via Amino and Instagram since 2017.
In mid-2018, he started drawing furries, which he frequently draws with tactical elements and casual stuff. He also created his first fursona, named Quartz (later renamed Everest), and with the help of an online friend in creating his other fursona, Blue, that plays a main role in his social activity as well as his YouTube channel icon.
During mid-2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic worsened, Everest decided to try and create a Twitter account to start his social and art career, other than just being active on Discord. Lots of art style changes occurred in just a year alone and he opened several art commissions.[3]
He still makes content to this day and is actively creating artwork and animatics.
Fursonas
Everest has created several fursonas of his own, with the main two being Snezhnov Everest Lushenko (or just Everest), a Siberian Husky/Eurasian wolf hybrid, and Blue Helvetical, a Protogen. He had claimed that both of his fursonas had undergone several changes throughout the years. He describes 'Everest' the wolf-husky as friendly, determined, trustworthy, and sharp, despite being overall cold and a loner, much to fit his own personality traits.
His most previously created character is a male grey and white tabby cat character named Ross, whose designs are based on a house cat of the same name he once had, made as a memory of its 9-year anniversary. Ross has 2 feather earpieces on one of his ears which are based on the feather of a Malaysian Blue Flycatcher. Sometimes, one of the feathers is replaced with blueberries and leaves instead. Ross has a mixed swirl-stripe pattern on his body and a unique eye-like dot on his head. Ross also has a blue-colored eye instead of a green color, which Everest explains is because the tabby is very playful during its first 3 months of age (where kitten eyes are still baby blue) and it suits his grey-white fur. Ross is often confused with a Warriors character named Jayfeather. Everest used Ross as his artist icon picture while still keeping his two main fursonas active.

Social media
Everest joined YouTube on September 10, 2017, and has about 1.02k subscribers under the channel name BlueHelvetical, while his Twitter account currently has 4.2k followers as of October 10, 2023.
Trivia
- Everest undergo treatments for personality/mood disorder and stated that he were hospitalized once due to psychosis and severe depersonalization.
- He had once become a meme titled 'Finally, Protogen_irl' after he posted a picture of himself wearing a paper-made protogen mask made as a joke, and people edited it. [4]
- He claimed that he does not really speak in his old videos because he was not fluent in English back then and sounded awkward when he did.[5]
- He stated that he had once won a grand prize in a lucky draw at a road cycling event.
- He loves to cook fried rice with omelets[6] and drink blue lemon soda. He is also allergic to shrimp.[7]
- A headshot art of Ross and a barely visible grey text "mmm. latte." can be seen on his YouTube channel banner only by desktop view.
- He used to be a scripter in Java Lua and has an interest in multimedia, but has since moved on to Urban Planning/Development.
- In a test stream, his viewers asked in the chat what would Ross's name be if he were a warrior cat. Everest stated that it could be Rossenfur, Sleetstream, or Sprucefur because "He lives in the snowy taiga", which is the biome he was exploring in the Minecraft stream.
