An adoptable is a character design created by an artist to be sold. Most adoptables require some form of payment specified by the artist. This payment can be real currency, fictional currency, or art. Adoptables are usually given away with other adoptables in events such as OTAs or DTAs. Adoptables can also be created for submission into a DMAC contest.
