The Energetic Convention (T.E.C.) is an online furry convention.

T.E.C.

Based in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Canada (aka The Energetic City), it was created by Unifox[1] as a fun experience both on Discord[2] and VRChat.

The Discord server has a couple of chat rooms available prior to the event. During the con, it offered several chat rooms such as con info, a text chat for the main con floor, a chat with links to the VR instances being used for events, a chat for signing up do the dealers den, some VC's for the main con floor, and chats for the dealers den stations.

On VRChat, there was be a couple of instances open on the virtual world such as the main landing area with rooms, and events that will be in various worlds around.[clarify]

The T.E.C. logo design was based on the logo for the city the con is based in (Fort St. John).

History

  • The first T.E.C. was first held on October 25-31, 2020.
  • The second was held on November 5 - 7, 2021.
  • The third is scheduled for April 1 - 3, 2022.[citation needed]
