AnthroExpo LLC(also known as AnEx) is a new up-and-coming furry convention set to take place at the Wyndham Hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with the dates being October 18-20, 2019.

The aim of AnthroExpo is to start a new hotel convention for Oklahoma, to promote dealers and artists alike, and to bring about a renewed sense of community for furries.

Kickstarter

AnthroExpo began their Kickstarter on November, 9, 2018, with an all-or-nothing goal of $2500. It has passed its minimum goal, and with less than a month remaining, still has multiple levels of sponsorship available until December 30, 2018.

Charity

AnthroExpo has officially partnered with Pet Angels Rescue, a no-kill shelter based out of Guthrie, Oklahoma, as the convention's official charity.

Founded in 1999, they are dedicated to saving the lives of as many homeless animals as possible, while raising awareness of the countless number of animals that are euthanized each day in rural Oklahoma shelters. Their primary mission is to pull at-risk animals from kill shelters and bring them into their protection by working with the animals to find them their perfect forever home.

Mascots

The official mascots for AnthroExpo are Andrea the scissortail flycatcher, which is also the state bird of Oklahoma, and Exavier the prairie dog. They are featured on official artwork, including the website, and eventual merchandise.
