Bernard Doove

Bernard Doove was born in September 1957, resides in Victoria, Australia and is best known in the furry fandom as the creator of the chakat race. His personal fur is Chakat Goldfur.
Fandom involvement
Bernard Doove is also a prolific author, and his multiple storylines span dozens of stories. His novel, Life's Dream, won the 2007 Ursa Major Award for Best Anthropomorphic Novel.
He is the current Head of Exhibitions at the Melbourne furry convention, MiDFur, which includes the Dealers Den, Art Show, and Charity Auction.
He is also the editor and publisher of both versions of South Fur Lands, and the webmaster for the Ursa Major Awards.
