RBW (originally Red Blue & White) is the UK's first and Europe's second largest furry convention. Held annually in London, England, it attracts furs from across the UK, Europe and the US.

Background

Since the formation of the LondonFurs in 1998 it has been traditional for them to organize a special Christmas meal. However this tradition was broken in 2005 when no one took the responsibility of arranging it. When Rapido took responsibility for the group, he decided to make the Christmas meal a more formal event by organising Red, Blue & White (originally titled the 'Londong Boat Party'), which took place after the 2006 Christmas meet. The party attracted around 85 furs who were entertained by music and a live performance by 2, The Ranting Gryphon as they cruised along the Thames.

In April 2007, RBW planners decided to expand the event from an evening party into a full 2 day convention. While RBW 2007 continued to host the traditional boat party, it also offered attendees a wide range of additional activities. RBW 2007 sold a total of 242 tickets [1] and also had a conbook, hotel affiliation, dealers and several Guests of Honour.

For 2008, the convention will move into a hotel with convention facilities over 4 days, but will still include the traditional evening River Thames cruise. The dates for RBW 2008 are 27th to the 30th November.

On July 20, 2008, Rapido, Bernie and Bunni all announced their resignations from the running and operation of RBW.[2]
