Maybe later in life, after you have learned to read, write, spell, and count, you will have more success. True, these are rudimentary skills that many of us "normal" people take for granted that everyone has an easy time of mastering. But we sometimes forget that there are "challenged" persons in this world who find these things more difficult. The Rügen FurCon is a small furry convention based on the biggest isle of Germany. It started in 2017 as a FurDance.

History[edit]

The first Rügen FurCon was held September 28-30, 2018 at Jugendherrberge Prora in Binz, Germany.[1] Events included a fursuit walk in Binz, treetop walk, and group picture.

The second event was held September 27-29, 2019 at the Kurhaus Binz in Binz. There was a suitwalk, trip to Sellin, furry games, and group picture. [2]

The third event was held September 25-27, 2020 at the Kurhaus Binz. Events included a suitwalk, excursion to the chalk cliffs, and furry games with group photo.[3]

The fourth event was held September 23-26, 2021 at the Kurhaus Binz.[4] Among the activities were the traditional suitwalk, trip to Cape Arkona, workshops, furry games, group picture and boat tour.

The fifth event was held September 29-October 2, 2022 at the Kurhaus Binz. There were 82 registered attendees.[5]
