Eurofurence 27 "Black Magic" was the 27th iteration of the convention Eurofurence, held from 3–7 September 2023 at the Congress Center in Hamburg, Germany.
The convention was originally scheduled to be held from 2–6 August at the Estrel Hotel in Berlin, Germany, however on 21 December 2022, it was announced that due to unforeseen circumstances, the convention needed to change the venue and date in 2023.[1] On 13 February 2023, Eurofurence announced that the convention will take place at the Congress Center in Hamburg, Germany on 3–7 September.[2]
Stage events included the opening ceremonies, the Paws on Fire dance battle, Uncle Kage's story hour, a charity concert with Fox Amoore and friends, the fursuit theatrical play Demonormicon by the Furry Tails Theater, and the traditional Eurofurence Pawpet Show with All Cats are Beautiful. Dances took place every night, the first one on the Summerboat party on a boat tour down the river Elbe the night before the convention. For the first time after a hiatus of several years, a fursuit parade took place, leading through the neighboring Planten un Blomen botanical park.
The guest of honor was fantasy artist and art director of Ulisses Spiele, Pechschwinge.
The charity for EF27 was UAnimals and 40 004,88 EUR were donated[3]
Eurofurence 27 attracted 3408[4] international attendees.
