Tom Fischbach (full Jason Thomas Fischbach; born on July 28, 1987 in Hawaii, USA),[1] [2] is a Korean-American artist and writer who lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.[3]

Webcomic

Tom Fischbach is the creator and artist of the comic Twokinds.[4] Illustrated in a manga style, according to Fischbach, it was partially inspired by the discrimination he experienced as a Korean American attending a predominantly white school;[3] the comic shows races that traditionally don't trust each other working together.

Tom Fischbach and furry

Tom does not appear to take much interest in the culture of the furry fandom, going as far as to proclaim that he doesn't consider himself a "furry", despite a great deal of his DeviantArt gallery being anthropomorphic and the majority of his fans being furdom based.[5]

His webcomic Twokinds won the 2010, 2015 and 2016 Ursa Major Award for Best Anthropomorphic Graphic Story.[6][7][8]

Trivia

He is the older brother of YouTube Internet personality Mark "Markiplier" Fischbach.[9]
