Groo Dee Aussieroo, also known as Groo Kangaroo (born May 29, 1991),[1] is a fursuiter who lives in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.[1]

Groo Dee Aussieroo
Groo is an Eastern Grey kangaroo. He is often depicted in a blue and green dyed colour-scheme with a blue pouch bag,[2] but is sometimes shown in his naturalistic grey colour-scheme.[3]
Groo unofficially sees October 25 as "Groo Day", since that day is the anniversary of when he doodled the roo which would eventually become known as Groo.[4]
In late 2013, Groo was created in fursuit form. This partial roo suit was first worn at ConFurgence 2014.
Rupert Meerrat
Groo's secondary fursona, Rupert Meerrat, is a hybrid of banded rat and meerkat.[5] Rupert was created out of an interest in rats and similar rodents, brought upon by all the time he has spent around Marko the Rat at many conventions.
