The basic idea is "Furries running amok in their world's version of Sherwood Forest, England, 12th Century A.D." The cover illustrates the idea - a Robin Hoodesque fox archer shooting a fire arrow, a parody of the movie poster from the 1991 film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. The game's furry Merrie Englande also features magic.
In addition to the game system and generic campaign background, stats are provided for various figures such as Guy of Gisbourne (a rottweiler), Richard Lionheart and Prince John (lions), The Sheriff of Nottingham (a boar), and the Bishop of Ely (a horse).
