Linnaeus (Paul Lester, born July 31, 1969) has been an active member of the furry community since the mid-1990s. He is involved with the Lake Area Furry Friends and a native of Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. where he lives and works as a programmer.
Linnaeus was on the organizing committee for the 2000 and 2001 TSA Bashes, ran the furry track at Duckon 13, was an organizer of the LAFF New Years Eve parties from 2002 through 2005 and has helped out on Artists Alley and Publications staff at Anthrocon in recent years. He is a member of the board of directors of Midwest Furry Fandom, Inc.. He served as the hotel liaison for Midwest FurFest from 2000 through 2005, and was convention chairman there in 2006 and 2007. He currently serves as registration director for Midwest FurFest.
