Furconz is a furmeet held annually in New Zealand since 2002. FurcoNZ is normally held in December.
Contents
History
FurcoNZ 2002
Was hosted by PuppyDog in Panmure, Auckland at a private residence.
FurcoNZ 2003
Was held in West Auckland at a private residence.
FurcoNZ 2004
FurCoNZ 2004 was hosted in Dunedin, Otago. Student Central.
FurcoNZ 2005
Held December 2005 in Taupo, North Island; at least 18 furs attended.[1]
FurcoNZ 2006
Held November 2006 in Wairakei, just north of Taupo. This event boasted the largest attendance with 30 odd people SOMEHOW cramming into a 3 bedroom home. Was also the first con to feature wireless internet, some bozo wandering about with a digital video camera, and copious amounts of alcohol.
FurcoNZ 2007
Planned for end of November/beginning of December at Huia, west of Auckland. This will be the first FurconNZ to not be held in someone's house.
